Apollo XT Electronic Fuel Tank Contents Gauge (Underground Tank)
The Apollo XT Electronic Fuel Tank Contents Gauge allows you to measure the level of fuel in your tank from the warmth, comfort and convenience of your home. It also allows the tank contents readings to be taken at the tank. Designed for use with oil tanks installed underground or positioned above safe working height (not Balmoral underground tanks).

The Apollo XT Remote fuel oil tank contents gauge, is designed for use with oil tanks installed underground or positioned above safe working height. Such tanks are notoriously difficult to refuel safely. Apollo XT assists in achieving compliance with Health & Safety requirements by allowing the level of fuel remaining inside such tanks to be quickly, safely and accurately determined.
How it works
Apollo XT is a multipart system, comprising a tank mounted ultrasonic measurement sensor; a remote, wireless transmitter unit; and a plug in receiver unit.
The on-tank measurement sensor monitors the level of fuel inside the tank and relays this information, via a hardwired connection, to the transmitter unit which is positioned adjacent to the fill point. The transmitter unit features an inbuilt LCD display, showing the level of fuel inside the tank before, during and after refuelling.
The transmitter unit wirelessly relays tank level data to the receiver unit, which simply plugs into a stand 13 amp domestic socket. The receiver unit incorporates a premium quality LCD display, which allows users to easily ascertain the level of fuel remaining inside the tank.

Applications
Ideal for monitoring heating oil and diesel – but suitable too for a wide range of liquids including admixtures, agricultural fuel oil, anti-freeze, biodiesel, bio heating oil, fuel oil, detergents, lubricants, waste oil and water – at storage tank installations where the tank is positioned above safe working heights or installed underground.
Please note that Apollo LD Remote is a specialist product designed for use primarily with non-standard fuel storage installations. Unlike most other Apollo branded products, it is recommended that the Apollo LD Remote is installed either at time of installation, or retrofitted only by an OFTEC Registered Technician or similarly competent person.

Tanks:
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside" which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks Over 2500L – Articulated Lorry – Customer Offload:
These tanks will be delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long x 2.6m wide x 3m high) which has no offloading on board, it is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler / forklift. Curtain sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or hanging branches on the road to the delivery site etc, the driver may refuse to drive the vehicle to the customer's location due to the possibility of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know if there are any obstructions before delivery, so we can arrange alternative transport.
18 Tonne Tail Lift HGV
This vehicle is the size of the largest bin lorries (for comparison) and is approximately 8.2m long x 2.6m wide x 4m high, often curtain sided so please note that if there are hanging branches etc, these vehicles will not attempt to drive down due to the possibility of damaging the vehicle and so it is recommended that a smaller vehicle is requested. Tanks will be lowered to the ground but not positioned as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, please email us at sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB Delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested and there will be an additional cost for this service. If a HIAB delivery is required, please email us at sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we will come back to you with a price for this service.
Accessories:
Most accessories will be delivered within 1-3 working days. If you require them quicker, we can on occasions offer a next day service (please contact us to discuss). If the item(s) are out of stock, we will advise you of the expected lead time, and you will of course have the opportunity to cancel with a full refund.

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days (as per our Terms & Conditions) - refer to section 7. **
All Items must be returned unused, refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so please check that you are ordering the correct item (we suggest checking the dimensions very carefully).

Once your request is approved, a valid Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) will be issued to initiate the returns process along with information on how & where to return your order along with any costs involved.
