The 3 main products that we sell in the Watchman range is the Sonic, Sensit & Sonic Advanced
Watchman Sonic:
The Watchman Sonic is the base level telemetry system we offer. This system works with a transmitter that will sit onto the top of your tank and will communicate with a 3 pin receiver plug inside your property to give you a ‘out of 10’ bar reading.
Watchman Sensit:
The Watchman Sensit is the upgraded version of the Watchman sonic.
This unit gives you up to date oil readings on your mobile phone thought the use of Wi-Fi.
Attach the transmitter onto the top of your tank, then plug the USB receiver into any USB port in the property (e.g. the back of the internet router or a 3 pin UK socket with USB port) within the WI-FI radius.
Once this is up and running you will then need to download the Kingspan app and go through the steps to get your tank linked. You will receive oil level readings and over time the app will work out your predicted run out date.
Watchman Sonic Advanced:
The watchman sonic advanced is the upgraded version of the Watchman Sensit.
This device can be purchased as just the transmitter and plug or a complete package of the transmitter, plug and USB dongle.
The transmitter and plug option gives you the option purchase the USB dongle later. (Please note. These 2 units do not need each other to work)
The Watchman Sonic Advanced Is installed using the same method as the Sensit and Sonic - The advanced unit allows you to have both options of oil level monitoring (In the property and via app).

PROTECT YOUR OIL! With the Watchman Sonic Advanced, you can monitor your oil tank contents 'at a glance' from your home, no need to walk outside to the tank. In the event of the oil level in the tank dropping at an unusual rate, the receiver will emit an audible alarm.
How it works
The transmitter sits on top of the tank and, using ultrasonic level measurement techniques, constantly measures the level of oil in the tank.
It then transmits that information to the receiver, which is plugged into an electric wall socket, located in a convenient place within the house.
The height of the liquid is displayed on an LCD screen on the receiver. The householder can monitor the level of oil in their tank from inside their home.
When the level of oil in the tank gets below 10%, the fuel dispensing pump symbol appears, indicating to the householder that it is time to order some more oil.
Upgrade to a smart monitoring system with the USB Receiver. This lets you transform your Watchman Sonic Advanced, into a smart WiFi tank level monitor. Enables you to control your oil levels through a smartphone app without being tied to a single location. Sensit USB Receiver
A USB receiver that lets you transform your Watchman SENSiT ready oil tank, into a smart Wi-Fi tank level monitor. Enables you to control your oil levels through a smartphone app without being tied to a single location. The SENSiT USB receiver and app alerts you of low levels, sudden drops, predicted run out and consumption monitoring notifications directly to your phone. The SENSiT even works with Alexa, so when asked 'How much oil is in my Tank?', she will be able to let you know!
IMPORTANT
This product has been designed to work with domestic Wi-Fi routers. In the case of mobile broadband and business routers or managed networks, please check with your provider or network administrator before purchasing this device
Level in the APP is updated once per day in the early morning hours, and it's rounded to the nearest 5%. Environmental factors e.g. temperature and registered tank details may affect the accuracy

Incompatible routers/Wi-Fi devices
Even if your router is not on this list, your router might be incompatible with SENSiT device.
Symptoms of an incompatible router or incompatible router settings include:
- Pairing error message in Kingspan Connect APP
- Red light on the SENSiT USB receiver even after successful pairing
- Frequent unit reboots
- Random unit disconnection (red light)
- Outdated readings in Kingspan Connect APP

Watchman Sonic Advanced with USB Receiver Delivery Information
Tanks:
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside" which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks Over 2500L – Articulated Lorry – Customer Offload:
These tanks will be delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long x 2.6m wide x 3m high) which has no offloading on board, it is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler / forklift. Curtain sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or hanging branches on the road to the delivery site etc, the driver may refuse to drive the vehicle to the customer's location due to the possibility of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know if there are any obstructions before delivery, so we can arrange alternative transport.
18 Tonne Tail Lift HGV
This vehicle is the size of the largest bin lorries (for comparison) and is approximately 8.2m long x 2.6m wide x 4m high, often curtain sided so please note that if there are hanging branches etc, these vehicles will not attempt to drive down due to the possibility of damaging the vehicle and so it is recommended that a smaller vehicle is requested. Tanks will be lowered to the ground but not positioned as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, please email us at sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB Delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested and there will be an additional cost for this service. If a HIAB delivery is required, please email us at sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we will come back to you with a price for this service.
Accessories:
Most accessories will be delivered within 1-3 working days. If you require them quicker, we can on occasions offer a next day service (please contact us to discuss). If the item(s) are out of stock, we will advise you of the expected lead time, and you will of course have the opportunity to cancel with a full refund.
Watchman Sonic Advanced with USB Receiver Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days (as per our Terms & Conditions) - refer to section 7. **
All Items must be returned unused, refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so please check that you are ordering the correct item (we suggest checking the dimensions very carefully).
If you wish to return goods, please complete the form on this page to provide further information.
Once your request is approved, a valid Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) will be issued to initiate the returns process along with information on how & where to return your order along with any costs involved.
Please DO NOT return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without this.
