1500 litre (330 gallons) bunded fuel station. Approved for transport according to the ADR (but without a fitted pump).

This Multi Tank Diesel Filling Station consists of an inner tank made from HDPE surrounded by a galvanised steel casing, forming a 110% integral Bund. A full steel pallet with collision protection allows the tank to be moved easily by fork lift. Four screw caps on the top of the unit provide connections for any ancillaries needed, such as pump, suction or fill connection, contents gauge or collecting funnel. Lower centre of gravity increases stability and improves handling/transport.

Delivery in 5-7 Working Days

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.

Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload

These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.

Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.

18-tonne tail-lift HGV

This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.

Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.

HIAB delivery

HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Accessories

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.

Returns Information

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.

How to return an item

  • Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
  • Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
  • Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
  • Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.

What is a bunded tank?

A bunded tank consists of a 'tank within a tank'.

The inner tank is the primary storage vessel, whilst the outer tank acts as a failsafe.

In the event of a spill, surplus fuel will safely and securely be stored within the outer tank and an environmental pollution incident will be averted.

Tank Compliance

For multi-site refuelling and for quantities over 450 litres a unit with full ADR type approval or UN approval is required

These tanks are specifically designed for refuelling remotely on-site

These portable tanks are approved and tested to meet the needs of the European Agreement (ADR) for the international Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road*.

The CEMO range offers a quality, cost saving and compliant solution backed by excellent technical and customer service support

A person acting in the course of their main business may transport, with their equipment, up to 450 litres of diesel for refuelling on a single site without being subject to the full ADR rules.

Those diesel tanks are "approved for transport for immediate consumption" according to ADR 1.1.3.1c).

Also known as the "Craftsmans Exemption"

* models below 300 litres do not require ADR approval due to their smaller capacity

Please Note:

If a single skin transportable tank is used as a static dispensing tank, it must be stored in a bunded area to comply with the Control of Pollution Regulations in GB

Delivery Information

Delivery to mainland UK is included in the price however Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and islands do not include delivery charges in the tank price

Delivery is a kerbside delivery service only and not a "drop at your door service".

Deliveries can be made by articulated lorry and it is the customers' responsibility to ensure safe and adequate access for large lorries plus off loading facilities at the delivery address.

Off loading of heavy items should be made by fork lift or similar heavy lifting equipment

Tanks cannot be left without a customer signature
