V1340PDD Bunded Diesel Dispensing Tank
The Deso V1340PDD is a 1340 litre-class bunded diesel dispensing tank designed for secure above-ground storage and convenient on-site dispensing of diesel, gas oil and compatible HVO fuels. With a stated volume of 1,301 litres and a vertical design, it provides a practical fuel storage solution for agricultural, commercial, industrial and plant applications where a dedicated refuelling point is required.
The tank is supplied as a complete dispensing system, including a 6 metre delivery hose, automatic shut-off nozzle, 10-micron water and particulate filter, overfill prevention valve and clock-type contents gauge. The standard configuration uses a 240V pump or a 12V alternative available, while a digital flow meter can be selected as an optional upgrade.

Bunded Tank Construction
The V1340PDD uses a bunded "tank within a tank" design. The inner tank acts as the primary fuel storage vessel, while the outer tank provides secondary containment.
This configuration is designed to retain fuel within the outer tank in the event of a leak or spill, helping to reduce the risk of an environmental pollution incident.
The product also has a 10-year guarantee applying to the tank only.
Diesel, Gas Oil and HVO Compatibility
The Deso V1340PDD is suitable for fuel oil (A2) and gas oil/diesel, including biofuel such as HVO, as defined by BS EN 2869, BS EN 590 and BS EN 15940.
The manufacturer information specifically states that the tank is not suitable for the storage of kerosene. Fuel compatibility should therefore be checked before using the tank with any fuel not specifically covered by the published specification.
hoice of Pump Options
The V1340PDD is available with several pump configurations to suit different site power requirements.
The 240V pump is the standard option currently listed for the tank. It is supplied with a 3-pin "caravan style" plug and 1.8 metre power cable.
A 12V pump option is available for installations where a low-voltage power supply is preferred. The 12V pump is supplied with crocodile clips for connection to a suitable power source.
The 12V option may have a longer lead time than the standard configuration.

Delivery and Offloading
Standard tank deliveries are kerbside deliveries. This means the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned at the final installation point. Customers must make arrangements to manoeuvre the tank into position.
HIAB delivery is available by request at an additional cost where a suitable lifting solution is required.

Delivery Terms
Delivery in 4 - 5 Working Days
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.
Accessories
Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
How to return an item
- Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
- Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
- Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
- Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
